SOFA

SOFA  is a youth-driven, non-profit organization for Oshkosh-area LGBTQ youth and their allies, aged 14-18 years old.

We have meetings during the school year on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month, from 6-8pm at ARC, 115 Washington, Suite A, Oshkosh, WI.  We are across from the Oshkosh Public Library  (Side entrance, please).

In order to provide a "safe" place, all meetings will be facilitated or attended by two adults over the age of 21.

Also June 16th we are invited to play kickball with Harmony Cafe in Appleton at City Park.  Meet at Harmony Cafe at 6pm.

If Harvey had not been taken from us 30 years ago, I think he'd want me to say to all those gay and lesbian kids out there tonight - who have been told that they are less than by their churches, by the government, or by their families - that you are beautiful, wonderful creatures that are valued.
